Consumer Law claim against manufacturer
Proctor Phair Lawyers acted on behalf of a client who had purchased a reconditioned engine which failed within the 12 month warranty period and the manufacturer was refusing to honour the warranty. We made an application through NCAT and the matter was settled with the manufacturer and the client was happy with the outcome.
Huge financial settlement for employee
Proctor Phair Lawyers acted on behalf of a client who had been subjected to severe bullying over a number of years whilst an employee of by one of the big banks. The client did not wish to return to work with the bank and we were successful in negotiating a huge financial settlement for the client.
Claim against Trustee in Bankruptcy
Proctor Phair Lawyers acted on behalf of a client who had been served with a notice of objection to discharge from bankruptcy by her trustee extending her bankruptcy by 8 years. We were successful in an application to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal obtaining orders that the decision under review should be set aside and the objection to her discharge from bankruptcy should be cancelled, resulting in the client’s immediate discharge from bankruptcy.

Domain name breach
Proctor Phair Lawyers acted on behalf of a client in relation to a domain name breach and were successful in having the offending domain name removed
Injunction against former employee
Proctor Phair Lawyers acted on behalf of a company which had its confidential information stolen by a former employee who was also in breach of a restrictive covenant when he left the company taking the company’s main clients with him together with substantial confidential information and we were successful in obtaining an injunction against the former employee prohibiting him from continuing to use our client’s confidential information and from providing services in breach of the restrictive covenant
